I wonder if the data guys are discerning a pattern to identify the players that are doing the damage in this series ?

Slider up in the zone to Muncy fouled straight back. Another hanger, barely missed it. Throw over. FB overthrown way high, Wells has to reach up way high to prevent a wild pitch, 1-1 Slider drops inside thigh high, lays off it, 2-1 Change in the zone up and away, fouled off, 2-2 Sharp slider misses just inside, he starts but checks, 3-2 Missed by an inch or two on Gameday Overthrows a slider well high, Muncy chases and K's, 2 down.

How do you allow the same guy to homer 4 games in a row in a playoff game ?

Yet another “Are you kidding me?” first inning for the Dodgers. The hill to climb just got higher…

K. Hernandez takes a slider on the outside corner, not called, 40-50% on Gameday, bad call, 1-0 Swings over a change dropping just low, outer half, 1-1 Takes a slider way low, also outside, 2-1 Slider outer 3rd, waist high, popped to the right side, Rizzo moves into foul territory, catches, inning over.
Bottom 1, 2-0 Dodgers. Just 27 pitches in the first for Gil. Let's see if the Yanks have any fight at all left against Casparius.

This was a hanging slider waist high, near the corner away. But sometimes, as we've seen with Judge, hitters just get in The Zone.

Freeman's HR was a HR in just 5 of 30 parks, but notice that Smoltz didn't mention that. Funny, no?

Torres takes a slider outside, ball 1. FB up and in, popped foul near the side wall near the corner, Betts, leaps, and catches it, the fan reaches over and rips the ball out of the glove and umps immediately rule fan interference, 1 down.
