I have a few minutes, so I just wanted to apologize. I was thinking about it while cooking dinner and I should have never said this world is a better place without John McCain in it. Sometimes we take politics a little too personal and post stupid shit... and I apologize. I don't care about offending people, that's not why I apologize, I apologize because it was just stupid. People, myself included, tend to make arguments in the heat of the moment and sometimes go a little too far and say stupid shit. I only have a minute so I just wanted to post this, but I have a well thought out post in my head and don't want to screw it up by rushing it. The post has nothing to do with McCain or politics but just about how people screw up like I did and it invalids valid points by turning people off your argument. Right on.

He will have the authority to pursue answers to all of his questions. To call hearings on any topic he sees fit. To depose any administration official he wants to question. There’s no question in my mind that White House chief of staff John Kelly will be the focal point of a hearing about White House security clearance procedures. White House senior adviser Jared Kushner will be asked to explain the questionable intersection of his government job and his business enterprises. The lawsuit was stayed this spring after federal agents raided Mr. Cohen’s office and apartment, prompting him to invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination to avoid having to testify in the suit. A federal judge agreed that if Mr. Cohen became a witness in the lawsuit, he could expose himself to legal risks in the F.B.I.’s investigation. The whole thing might have been dismissed as just another publicity stunt from Mr. Avenatti, who has a penchant for making provocative statements about Mr. Trump and who has even mused about running for president in 2020. But now that Mr. Cohen has pleaded guilty, he may no longer be able — or choose — to avail himself of the Fifth Amendment’s safeguards. Because of that development, Mr. Avenatti vowed last week to ask the judge to lift the stay and to let him question Mr. Trump about Ms. Clifford by taking his deposition. “The developments of today will permit us to have the stay lifted in the civil case & should also permit us to proceed with an expedited deposition of Trump under oath about what he knew, when he knew it, and what he did about it,” Mr. Avenatti wrote on Twitter on the day that Mr. Cohen pleaded guilty. “We will disclose it all to the public.”

LOL...In reality the company I worked for was so tight that they would do anything for cheap labor and got the dumbass idea that it would be a good idea to use work release prisoners from the local jail. I could see a couple of the women motioning for me to come over to where they were with this guy and a female inmate. All I had to do was demand he hand it over to me. He resisted the idea at first, cursed and threatened me, but eventually he did. At the end of the day, I pulled him aside and had a talk with him. I never told the jail. He never gave me any more trouble. In fact, he became a model employee until the owners found a cheaper crew of immigrants to work for them.
I had him in a bad spot, and he really didn't even notice. That section of the greenhouse had rolling tables. He was standing in between them. If I had needed to all I had to do was push a table and I could have put a lot of hurt on him. They were full of plants and plenty heavy...

I respect Utah as much as any poster here, but when you say Trump is unbeatable in 2020, I wonder where in the wide world of sports you are getting your information. Plus it’s not just lefties that despise his lying, cheating and criminal activities. Us independents will never vote for him, and that’s a group he must have in the wildly unlikely possibility that he even runs again, much less wins. Racism and misogyny will go down with a thud starting in November. When moderate voters like me and others are considered too liberal, the goose is cooked.

WOODWARD'S NEW BOOK SHOULD SCARE THE LIVING HELL OUT OF ALL OF US.
After reading this article I along with Tequila went into Do Me's Wonderland World with Tequila screaming: OH SHIT, WE ARE F..KED, OH SHIT, WE ARE F..KED,"
And so we went: 'One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small And the ones that mother gives you, don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits, and you know you're going to fall Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call
And call Alice, when she was just small
When the men on the chessboard get up and tell you where to go And you've just had some kind of mushroom, and your mind is moving low
Go ask…'

President Donald Trump's closest aides have taken extraordinary measures in the White House to try to stop what they saw as his most dangerous impulses, going so far as to swipe and hide papers from his desk so he wouldn't sign them, according to a new book from legendary journalist Bob Woodward.
Woodward's 448-page book, "Fear: Trump in the White House," provides an unprecedented inside-the-room look through the eyes of the President's inner circle. From the Oval Office to the Situation Room to the White House residence, Woodward uses confidential background interviews to illustrate how some of the President's top advisers view him as a danger to national security and have sought to circumvent the commander in chief.
Many of the feuds and daily clashes have been well documented, but the picture painted by Trump's confidants, senior staff and Cabinet officials reveal that many of them see an even more alarming situation — worse than previously known or understood. Woodward offers a devastating portrait of a dysfunctional Trump White House, detailing how senior aides — both current and former Trump administration officials — grew exasperated with the President and increasingly worried about his erratic behavior, ignorance and penchant for lying.
Chief of staff John Kelly describes Trump as an "idiot" and "unhinged," Woodward reports. Defense Secretary James Mattis describes Trump as having the understanding of "a fifth or sixth grader." And Trump's former personal lawyer John Dowd describes the President as "a f------ liar," telling Trump he would end up in an "orange jump suit" if he testified to special counsel Robert Mueller.
"He's an idiot. It's pointless to try to convince him of anything. He's gone off the rails. We're in crazytown," Kelly is quoted as saying at a staff meeting in his office. "I don't even know why any of us are here. This is the worst job I've ever had." READ MORE...
