Looks like a good read, but it's a long one. I have to go out, but I'll get back to this one. Once again, Roger Clemens has come into a pitcher's life and suggested something appalling. "Icy Hot" on your balls on the day you pitch? And yet, Peavy did it. I wonder if Pettitte did that, too? Only once, of course. Clemens is a very perverted individual. I wonder if he put that shit on his balls on the day he misremembered a few things??? That part of the story jumped out for me also. And then I cringed and doubled over and covered my balls to protect them. Clemens was a pretty fucked up guy. |

Martinez was also heard to say to his circle of friends, "I didn't get all those needles in my ass last year for nothing"..."I didn't intend to have to do that two years in a row. I know have a full beard from my face down to my testicles, and acne known as 'Adam's Nightmare'." In other news, the Bigfoot phenomenon has now been solved. The creatures have all been determined to be ex WWE wrestlers and NFL players that have taken steroids and now wander the deepest forests of America. They are often sighted when they attempt to return home to breed... As if I didn't hate the Red Sox enough already, the 2013 World Series ring was on Pawn Stars recently. It seriously says "Bearded Brothers" on the inside and has a logo of that stupid beard.  |

The video answered my question, which was "How does this wind up in a pawn shop"? Obviously, the further the recipient is from actually playing the sport, the less valuable the ring becomes because they get cheapened down, and obviously, it has less meaning to the recipient, especially if they wind up leaving the team for another team, or worse yet get fired. That was a really tiny looking ring, and I can see why a sweet young lady may not be especially enamored with her "bearded brothers" ring and dump it off on someone for what they'd rather have...money! I think it's sort of nice that everyone gets a ring, but in another way you can see that it's kind of silly, too...For that reason, love the Red Sox, hate the Red Sox, I found it to be an interesting perspective on something that I wouldn't have given a second's thought to had it not shown up on that reality show...
