First topic. DIVERSITY.]Problem as per Manfred. Too few blacks in the game(8%) while making up 13% of population but “happy to report that this year “20% of the first round picks were black” or some such thing.
So 5% undetrepresentation is a problem.
So 7% over solves the “problem”

Good thing the Yankees don't have that schedule with how shit we've been against sub 500 teams...
Against the best pitchers in the game tonight... How were majority of runs scored??? HOMERUNS!!! Eat that those who say teams that "homer too much" don't do well in post season. TEN HOMERS IN TONIGHT'S ASG!!! Imo... That's a strength in post season... Being able to take pitchers outta the park. Or you can try and string together a bunch of guys against the games best pitchers I thought it was proven last post season that a LARGE majority of runs in post season are scored via home run... Although i keep hearing that Yankees homer too much therefore we cannot win in playoffs...

Everything not just sports should be about having the best regardless of skin color. Did you notice there wasn't ONE white kid running out with the starting players during introductions??? That would be an issue I'm sure if it was all white kids instead of all black kids I think there should be a mandate to get more Asian American into baseball (joke)

I don't really care if the nation's capitol is populated with green or purple people, but I've never quite understood why that anomaly exists...DC is such a small area...And I have to believe that it's an expensive city to live in. Everything else immediately surrounding DC is very pricey...And the population in the surrounding areas, to the best of my knowledge does not mirror that of DC. I think Baltimore is some 60% or so African Americans...Which is a good 50 miles away... |

The agent for injured Chicago Cubs pitcher Yu Darvish said Alex Rodriguez's comments that his client was negatively affecting the team's clubhouse were "classless."
The rehabbing Darvish was shown in the Cubs dugout during Sunday night's game against the Cardinals. Rodriguez accused the pitcher of being a distraction.
"Matt (Vasgersian), the problem is, and I'm pretty passionate about this, when you have 25 players coming to the stadium, you're there to do one thing and that's win a ballgame," Rodriguez said on the ESPN telecast.
