And if only Olerud hadn't gotten injured. I have to say in that photo Clarke's beard looks artificial, almost like a feedbag on a horse. |

Maybe the most unimportant factoid you will see today, but for whatever reason I noticed that Max Kepler's walk off hit against the Phillies last night was his eleventh career walk off, tying him with HOFers Harmon Killebrew and Kirby Puckett for the most in Twins history. Pretty good for someone with a lifetime .238 BA. There's a guy with good timing.
Does anyone else remember the song "Good Timing" by Jimmy Jones? The guy who gave us the original "Handy Man."

I have to say in that photo Clarke's beard looks artificial, almost like a feedbag on a horse. At least when you enlarge the picture you can see that part of the white is his color and the beard does have a neat & trimmed look… Still baseball’s tallest position player at 6’8”.., |

At least when you enlarge the picture you can see that part of the white is his color and the beard does have a neat & trimmed look… Still baseball’s tallest position player at 6’8”.., Now that I'm looking at it on my laptop instead of my phone, I can see what you mean. It looks like it would take hours each day to keep it that perfectly trimmed. |
