I'm afraid that will be the moment Marcel Ozuna is always remembered for.

Edwin Jackson manages to keep hanging around despite a very mediocre career. Thirteen teams in a career that started in 2003. Career ERA+ of 91, a WHIP of 1.446 and well below .500. But he has had few arm miseries and always can find a team desperate for a bottom of the rotation pitcher. Nice gig.

Another extension for a younger player.

Maybe there’s something to be learned from these player extension in our marriage customs. We could “draft” our wives from a pool and then after a trial period of a few years we could sign them to an extension to age thirty after which they could ask for...
I know. Bad inger. Bad, bad!!!

Just mentioned during the Mets game that rookie first sacker Pete Alonso is the first player in MLB history to have 10 extra base hits in his first 10 games. Who even thinks to look that up? He looks pretty impressive in the early going.
The first four guys in the Mets lineup have surnames ending in the letter "O." Nimmo, Alonso, Cano and Conforto. That's probably a first too.

I once recall a team with more “O” names. They had: Zeppo Bimbo Yobo Bingo Bozo Ocho Bobo Milo Miko Chocko Loko Kinko (Want to meet her. Badly) Gogo Jimbo Jumbo (did not want to meet her so much) Bryce Harper says “That’s a clown team, bro!” Maybe so... but I’d still like to meet Kinko. If she’s really a girl. Especially if Gogo is a girl and she comes along. Dome’s getting to me, I swear...
