Unintentional. When two great artists are both plying their craft it’s inevitable that we’re going to occasionally hit the same notes, write the same lyrics, paint a mustache on the same Mona Lisa. In that spirit, I have decided not to sue you until you do something more egregious so that I might profit greater from it... I'm gonna dress up in the pope's robes or maybe a sombrero and a mustache, then go dig up some gravel.

Someone, Cabrera I think, got suspended for throwing his glove at an umpire. Thanks for letting us know that one of the 37 Cabrera’s in MLB has been suspended, Russ... (: Love ya’, buddy. You bring me joy...

On one hand, I don't want to see the young man struggle. On the other hand, I don't want to feel like we gave up someone who goes on to have a good career either. Depends on the situation if we gave up someone with 5 years of team control for someone that's a 2 month rental that does nothing for us then yea it's harder to see the former Yankee succeed because it feels like the move was done in haste.

Free agent “regrets” tracker:
Bryce Harper .242/.356/.448 (12 HR) Manny Machado .272/.350/.477 (15 HR) Patrick Corbin 6-5; 3.90
All fine players, none really needed here. Corbin would at least have been a healthy option, but the team has assets to move that should bring someone better back...

The money for Harper and Machado was expected to ensure .950+ .OPS every year. Neither is close to that, at this point. They could both have spectacular second halves, but thus far, they're under-performing--by a lot. Corbin is, pretty much, pitching well. WHIP of 1.2, lots of Ks, lots of innings. But he's getting paid to do more than that, as well. And none of the three teams that chose to pay these guys is sitting on top of their respective divisions, which probably frustrates the GMs more than anything.

Mike Francesca favorite Kyle Schwarber just attempted a bunt for a hit with two strikes down 5-0 to strike out. Really glad the Yankees never seriously pursued a trade for that meathead.
