They already had a plus infield defender who can’t hit, in Tyler Wade though, who is going to be available as a Sept callup. Really don’t see what the point was in this move. Boone complained because his toy box was getting empty... ….he wants to get this guy going...….

Don't despair folks. Cashman's analytical people have taken note of the direction of each of the 3,000 seventeen-hop grounders that Hechavarria has hit in his professional career. The grounds crew has been instructed to tailor the infield to "make the most" of that situation with judicious distribution of water, footprints and rake marks. The analytics department believes that if they can turn an occasional seventeen hop ground ball into say, a fourteen hopper, that they can raise the players OBP to over .300...Stay tuned for this exciting development... Given how he turned out right on Didi and Hicks, I wouldn’t doubt that anymore. Don’t count Voit out yet, either...
