Welcome, Utah. I didn’t think you were coming to the game thread tonight...You and Anthony both coming through the turnstiles to watch the final sword being driven into the bull... I was here and back with college football games, which......very nearly I love as much as baseball....I know you guys have an NFL thread, but I will probably never go there....college football is entirely another matter....the pageantry...the passion...nothing quite like it...… I tired of the NFL players with their multi-million dollar contracts, imagining that they were important beings...so important they would engage in social politics....I respond to them in the only way I can...I will not buy tickets....I will not watch on TV...I will not buy the products advertised....they are to me a non-entity....I do not expect to have much effect, but one must take a stand sometimes... I’m neutral on the whole social-consciousness of the NFL players at this point. I’m not finding myself excited about the product enough to care, to be honest...Oncd baseball is over, that will free up my weekends... |

I really wish the Yankees would keep Betances as the eighth inning guy. I'd prefer Robertson to close. Robertson has been very homer prone this year |

We’re going leaf-gazing and to a show in the mountains the next two weekends, so I guess i’m Already starting to free my weekends up...Want to hit a couple of remote mountain passes before the snow comes in big...We’ll likely see a bit while we’re up there as it is...

They’ve always been his kryptonite. The rate was high during that slump, but he’s right in line with all of his career stats this season... |
