With 5 games to go for us, 4 for Oakland we have a two and a half game lead over them and the tie breaker for home field. So a win tonight would pretty much seal it.

Let's get this done ASAP and make that Boston series completely meaningless. I love seeing Brett the Jet getting a chance to make a curtain call ( love the guy, but hope it's a curtain call) before he joins Coney and Paulie and Flash in the booth telling old man war stories. And thankfully we get at least one more year of Ken Singleton. The Yanks have had lots of great broadcasters over the years, and he is definitely one of the best. Look out!!!

But if not, like others on here, I do hope he returns to the Yankees, albeit as a fifth outfielder. He still plays great D, and he can still run, but his swings for most of this year have been so weak that it's painful to watch him. Maybe he gets a second wind. I sure hope so.

When, oh when will we stop throwing the ball away? This Little League style of play just won’t cut it...
Not making this starting pitcher for the one game P.O. any easier...not to mention beyond should we get there...
