How cool would it have been if Stanton had caught the thrown-back HR ball and carried it back to the dugout?.., That's what I was thinking, that would have been hilarious. Stanton did tip his cap to the fan for a nice throw.

Things unravel quickly when Kahnle and Cole take the mound.

Frazier needs to stay on the field next season. The last three seasons he’s played in 119, 113, and 69 games. He’s heading in the wrong direction. For the Yanks AAA team this year he hit .305/.388/.562, but in only 54 games.
My guess is that if the Yanks hold on to Cutch or Gardy, Frazier will be competing with them. My further guess is that the Yanks will be shopping for another OF with some urgency this winter. I believe Frazier to be among the many prospects that will be available as the Yanks avoid the biggest names on the free agent market and look to trade for an OF and as many as two more starting pitchers.
I have a feeling that Stanton may also be dealt. His power added to Judge’s is big, but the all or nothing approach to scoring by this team has often been quite dissatisfactory.
Anyway, I’m not Cashman...my guess is worth little...

Things unravel quickly when Kahnle and Cole take the mound. Why does Boone seem to want to tighten up games when we build a lead?..

I don't get umpires that squeeze pitchers when both teams want to get the game over with.
