Chapman benefits from a couple close calls, then strikes out JBJ on a slider. Fast ball command was terrible, but 100 wins nonetheless!

Bullpen made it interesting but they held on. I don’t want to see Kahnle on the postseason roster.

How can Chapman not challenge Kinsler there? The elf had no intention of swinging the bat either.

Bullpen made it interesting but they held on. I don’t want to see Kahnle on the postseason roster. Sad part is, Kahnle was very good last season. Disappointment this year, though. Maybe he's not fully recovered from injury (which I forget what it was).

Maybe he's not fully recovered from injury (which I forget what it was). Velocity was ok today but he had no command. Earlier this year he had no FB velocity which made the change irrelevant. He shouldn’t be on the post season roster.

100 wins!
HR record despite Stanton and Judge "only" hitting 65 among them! Our lineup is deep!

I’ll be anxious to see Kahnle next spring. I assume we’ll hold on to him since he has no value. The velocity is starting to tick upward again. Perhaps by next season he’ll have a clue where the ball is going and regain his value...

Despite his struggles, I'd think the would have no trouble finding a new team if the Yankees cut him lose, the bullpens throughout the league are that bad.

How was the game GF? Boys had a good time? We had a great time. Excellent seats, beautiful day for baseball and our guys came through for us. Boston rummy behind us tried to start shit with us all game but we didn’t let it get in the way. His best moment was when he told me (in front of my kids) that it would be fine if I died “because one less Yankees fan”. That was cute. He was nowhere to be found when the game ended. Then another time I was talking with my eight year old about how the Sox might be feeling about the playoffs - they won a ton of games but they beat up on bad teams and are entering the postseason maybe not quite as dominant and with Sale uncertain. And a guy we weren’t even talking to took that as an invitation to argue. I told him to enjoy the postseason, however long it might last...

Can't wait for these playoffs to get started already! 3 more long days.

It was a great day. And honestly, you can meet the same douchebag at Yankee Stadium, just wearing a different hat. There’s a big segment of guys who are sports fans who are just douchbags in arrested development who haven’t accomplished much with their lives so fighting with someone about sports at a game is their moment to feel important. It wasn’t worth ruining our day over, so I didn’t. I still love Fenway.
