4 Consecutive wins for the Red Sox in the Post Season in Yankee Stadium *
*14 year gap, not the same "Yankee Stadium"
(TBS stats are terrible)

Stanton's horrible at bat was the difference...only one strike thrown, yet he struck out....

A broken record, they can't get that huge clutch hit. Seems like every year they lose in the playoffs this becomes the problem. HR or Die x 1000000 I guess they just dont trust Andujars defense, but to not take have a 20 + hr hitter pinch hit makes no sense to me late in the game.

Our best hitter doesn't get an at bat....Miggy doubles watches from the pine...what a waste...

I know Torres has had a good rookie yr too, but he was pretty bad in september with under a 300 OBP Andujar has been consistent all year I think you gotta Pinch Hit there if not for him at least for Walker.

Got to swing the bat sometimes and we seem to like to take to many pitches. Especially our older guys. This team won 100 games with chicken wire and chewing gum this year. Too many guys had a subpar year.

Walker against a righty was fine with me...heck, he should have pinch hit for Stanton...Torres got homer happy...he's not the same hitter...he has abandoned the approach that got him to the big leagues at 21.

Sorry Kaybli you had to experience that. I was at the New York Rangers Game 6 in 2017 when they lost to the senators and the season was over its a crummy feeling to be at that game.

Stanton's horrible at bat was the difference...only one strike thrown, yet he struck out.... Give Sanchez similar discredit. He hit a sac fly, but he could have walked to reload the bases. He was homer happy in that at bat, like many others this season...Swung at mostly balls out of the zone...
