At this point a very rusty Aaron Hicks seems like a serious risk. But the Yanks have demonstrated that they know what they are doing with roster moves.

The reverse problem with these injuries is that you have to be tough when these guys want to come back. Sometimes you weaken the team and break the chemistry a bit...

I don't see a spot for ol' Cashman's Guy. You certainly wouldn't take out Gardner or the potential (always potential I guess) of Stanton putting it together. Even as a defensive replacement, I'd rather have Gardner in CF and Maybin in LF then the rusty Hicks in CF and Gardner in LF at this point.
