Ford can be an OF You may be a more capable outfielder than Mike Ford. Make no mistake though, I would pinch hit for you at the first opportunity. I have no faith in you as a hitter. If the first pitch was a strike: “Oh me, oh my. I haven’t the slightest chance of getting on base”. If the first pitch was a ball: “Oh me, oh my. I haven’t the slightest chance of getting on base”. If the first pitch hit you: <Let’s not even go there>... 😂 |

If I was a Bayesian I would suspect that earlier behavior would suggest priors to analyze the results. In this case it would not involve a probabilistic distribution, however. It is deterministic. The only way I would get on base would be if they hit me  I am quite sure I would not cover the field Who will we use to cover the OF given the loss of Tauchman. |

By the way, while no one was looking, Paxton has slowly crept to a career best 13-6 with the second best ERA+ (112) for a full season...And he can be better next season, too...

I hope he can hit and play LF. Ironically, I feel like he’s at the bottom of the depth chart...How weird would it be if he hit more HR in the post season than the regular season, or won the WS MVP? Strange, strange season... |
