The keep Urshela at 3rd thing reminds me of when Patriots fans were arguing that the QB shouldn’t be Bledsoe and shouldn’t be Brady but should have been Michael Bishop. Who? Exactly. I had to lookup Michael Bishop. Yeeeeesh. That’s okay. So does his mom...

Odorizzi has historically been a pretty good pitcher through three innings of his starts., and twice through the order. He’s a prime example of one of those pitchers that loses effectiveness as he gets deeper into the game. Seldom gets through six full innings... Let’s see about today...as he walks Sanchez...

Maybin has done a really good job so far. Better than we had any reason to expect.

Maybin has done a really good job so far. Better than we had any reason to expect. I actually thought he was pretty close to toast. I heard him say on a TV interview that after ten years in MLB, to be assigned to the minors to start this season was very humbling, and gave him a new perspective on how fortunate he is to be in the majors. He sounded so sincere, and like such a nice guy... He was a kid with high expectations once. The bat has never been all that good...He’s always ran and fielded well. Looks like the legs are still there...

Of course after I praise him, Maybin strikes out looking. Should have kept my big mouth shut.
Still, he's given the Yankees a nice week of baseball.

The issue was that the 3-1 pitch was very hittable, and he watched that one go by like it was a foot out of the zone...it was 94 MPH fastball that got way too much of the plate...

Looking like BP for Happ right now. Here comes the chorus of boos. I wonder if the fans were really booing Happ or just angry about watching this lifeless Yankee offense?
