Today should be the end of Trauchman in the starting lineup. Put Wade or Estrada in the OF, at least they have a pulse at the plate. Yeah, that was a depressing at bat. |

Having a strong infield defense with Gio at 3B, Torres at SS and DJ at 2B is huge for the pitching staff but I guess Cashman and Boone don't think infield is that important. I will be surprised if tomorrow we don't see Gio at third and Miggy at DH. I could live with that. It certainly makes the most sense, at least while all those OF bats are on the IL. |

Matt Kemp was just released by the Reds. A quick look at the stats: .200/.210/.283. I think the Yanks will pass and just wait for the return of Frazier, Hicks , Stanton...
