Playing Andujar at 3B instead of Gio is paying off. Gio gave us a glimpse of what it is like to have great defense at third, which will only increase the scrutiny on Andujar's shortcomings. We all love his bat, and I know he is rusty, but this has been as bad a return in the field as we could have imagined. |

We all love his bat, and I know he is rusty, but this has been as bad a return in the field as we could have imagined. Having a strong infield defense with Gio at 3B, Torres at SS and DJ at 2B is huge for the pitching staff but I guess Cashman and Boone don't think infield is that important. |

Today should be the end of Trauchman in the starting lineup. Put Wade or Estrada in the OF, at least they have a pulse at the plate.
