These guys in the power slots for Minnesota today have some horrendous OBPs...

Voit looked like he might have hurt himself on that swing.

I guess he's okay. He was doubled over, and we've learned to expect the worst.

It’s lonely here today. I know Chi is spreading mulch, the eastern and mid-western version of my gravel.
Mulch makes sense in very few applications here. There’s no moisture for it to retain, and the wind blows it away. Being a dumb easterner, I have some...Also, the sun bleaches the color out pretty quickly...

I guess he's okay. He was doubled over, and we've learned to expect the worst. I thought he was just doubled over in reaction to missing that pitch...We can hope for that, right?...

When we lived in Santa Fe, I quickly discovered that Eastern concepts -- like a grassy lawn -- just weren't going to work.

Polanco gives us a present... I thought he had an easy force at second. But I'll take it.

I'd forgotten how twitchy Pineda was on the mound. He looks uncomfortable, like Rodney Dangerfield.

When we lived in Santa Fe, I quickly discovered that Eastern concepts -- like a grassy lawn -- just weren't going to work. The family I bought the house from put a very tiny patch of grass out front and about 1000 sq. ft. out back. He put sprinklers in out back, but they’re not well installed, so I got one of those motorized sprinklers that look like a tractor. What a pain. Water the grass. Mow the grass. Fertilize the grass. Weed eat the edges. Yuck. The rest of the acre requires mowing anywhere from twice a year (like last year) to... I did seven times the year before, in a wet year. He put that grass in during his last of 17 years living here. No nice Xeric plants at all. He said he couldn’t beat the gophers. I’ve killed every one of them...I wish he would have saved his money on that grass...
