If only Severino could come back pitching like that for the second half...Wouldn’t that be amazing?...That would be the best 1-2 punch 🥊 the Yankees have had since...since...ever!!! Hard to think back that we got both German and Eovaldi from the Marlins for David Phelps and Martin Prado. I would question their pitching evaluations. |

Phelps has turned into a pretty good relief pitcher since abandoning the dream of starting. He’s in the opposing bullpen the next few days... Prada was a pretty good player, and may still have some decent play left at 35 after getting bit by the injury bug (Yankeeitis) the past couple of seasons. Still, when you add them up at this point, the ceiling on German is mad. He could make it Mission Impossible for anyone to prove that they should have given him up for Mr. Phelps and Martin Prado... |

Kind of cool that Martin Landau played Mr. Phelps right hand man and Martin Prado was... okay. It’s not THAT cool, but anyway...
