Reviewed the homer to Merrifield. That was not a bad pitch at all. Well up and out of the strikezone. Have to tip your cap to Whit. I agree. It was intended as a show me, but it got in the middle of the plate. Merrifield is a terrific late-blooming player. We’d love him if he played here, plays hard, works hard... |

I know. It gets much hotter here by about mid to late June, so I’m reluctant to wait too long. Now, I found a nice cabin that’s listed as a fixer-upper about an hour from here at an attractive price. I’m a sucker for those kind of listings, so I think we’re going to do a drive by tomorrow (we’ll stop and peep through windows if it appears empty). View of a 37 acre lake, but it’s at 8,300 or so feet, which means tons of snow in winter...Somehow, I HAVE to at least waste my time looking at it. The main living area is completed and gorgeous... Second bath in working order but not “decorated”, basement is raw, but we’d only want that for storage and laundry... It’s in the boondocks for certain...The kind of place I wanted to be in twenty years ago...But there is a small community there as well as a huge state park... The location of this place sounds perfect for someone who hates living in crowded cities. |
