Big difference in what Frazier makes and a 120 million dollar contract. Bogaerts also has a WS ring while playing shortstop. Frazier is in another realm of defensive ineffectiveness. Except I meant the ball Frazier snuck past SS for a hit... Oh....completely whiffed on that.

All about the bat. Cal Ripken was a 3B that got to play SS by the time he was 30. Jeter was a 2B that was allowed to stay at SS. Ernie Banks was never a real SS...So this is nothing really new to the game... Banks played more first base than shortstop. I don’t buy the narrative for Ripken or Jeter. If either were BAD shortstops, they would have been moved quickly. Think Eduardo Nunez. Not bad. Average. I want elite shortstop play on my team...

Have we had a hit with men in scoring position tonight?

Have we had a hit with men in scoring position tonight? Nope. We keep rolling a 3 and a 4 when we need a five or six, or getting on the pitcher’s card...

Gardner robbed of a hit after a great AB.

After making us suffer for years with Jon Miller and Joe Morgan, ESPN blows its chance to redeem itself by inflicting this trio on us. Shut up Jessica.

What I dispute is that these guys often get accolades about their defense, but the accolades truly are due to the bat...

Our poor hitting and lack of defense is ceasing to matter.
Our worse starter this year against their best.
