Aaron Hicks and Aaron Judge need to break out, hitting where they are in the lineup. Torres is due after going 0-5 in the first game today. Hicks gets a lot of rope from Boone. Ursheala, Torres and even Tauchman should be hitting higher in the lineup. |

Three first basemen who have recently been DFA'd are Tyler Austin, Lucas Duda and Mark Reynolds. Yes, I know they all suck and strike out endlessly. I realize you don't get DFA'd by bad to mediocre teams unless you appear to be hopeless. But that's what's on the scrap heap for the Yankees to pick through.
Shouldn't Clint Frazier immediately be working out at first in Scranton?

Stanton coming back to be the DH would help. |
