Appears Yankees are really taking Torres' core concerns very seriously, this time, which is a good thing. I wouldn't mind Tauchman batting second, rather than ninth. Gardner should be rested...

yeah...Judge is not "protecting" anyone now....in fact, I could see Toronto walking LeMahieu to get to Judge in a key situation....putting Tauchman batting second does seem to make some sense...I would move Judge to 6th or 7th in the hope that he might relax a bit, or change whatever is going on with his AB's....he's still been OK, but not the force that we have become accustomed to....I haven't seen anything different the pitchers are doing, but maybe some analytics do show something...

Come one Boonie, Sanchez was on the IR and before that, wasn't hitting, yet he's batting cleanup. Tauchman is one of the hottest hitters in baseball since the All Star Break and he's hitting 9th.
