Back to back walks from Tarpley after getting the first two outs.
Make that back to back to back hitters to load the bases, pathetic.

Tarpley is exhausting to watch. Sloppy mechanics every time, doesn’t know where the ball is going. He has good stuff but is so inconsistent. As soon as Loaisiga is back, he’s in AAA until rosters expand. Just not a major league pitcher yet.

Tarpley's facial features are similar to Mo Rivera's but that doesn't mean much when he throws the ball.

The slider is so good he should be better than this but it seems like his mechanics are different on every pitch.

That outing was a microcosm of Tarpley’s career so far. Very good slider, less than stellar fastball, poor command...There is still potential with that slider, but he has to get someway of hitting the edges with that FB...

Tarpley back out there after tossing 30+ pitches in the 2nd. Quite a surprise. He had a long outing and high pitch count his last time out, too. I recall joking that they would just assign him automatically to the IL after the game... is there a plan in motion?...

49, 30, 48, 51... those are the pitch counts for Tarpley in his prior four outings. I’m going to proclaim him the team sacrificial lamb...
What’s odd is that Boone has taken a fellow who entered the game with an ERA of 8.31 and put him front and center early in a game...I guess all we can say is... “That’s our Boonie”...
