If Taggart wasn't on the hot seat before, he is now. Even though I'm a Gator fan, I'm rooting a little bit for Taggart. He and I went to the same high school. I think coach deserves at least one full recruiting cycle before you can really judge him, but we all know how these rabid fans in south can be. FSU fans are not used to these type of loses.

Tennessee is a mess....Missouri also loses....some of the supposed bigger teams in the PAC lost like UCLA and Oregon....it may be the PAC gets shut out of the CFB playoffs again this year... Oregon had a chance to gain the conference some serious respect last night, against Auburn. That 4th qtr collapse will really hurt.

They owe too much money to fire taggert soon. Florida State can't afford to lose that much money

Jalen Hurts was spectacular in his Oklahoma debut last night. Threw 20-23 for 332 yards and three TDs, rushed for 176 yards and three more TDs. He and Johnny Manziel are the only QBs in the last 50 years to top 300 passing and 150 rushing with three TDs both ways.
Lincoln Riley may have his third straight Heisman QB.

I'm sure this kid has a major chip on his shoulder after being pushed aside at Bama. He has to, Chi, although he seems pretty low-key about it. I do understand why Saban stuck with Tua -- he was sensational -- and I also understand why Hurts needed to go elsewhere. It would be a heck of a storyline to have Bama and Oklahoma meeting in the playoffs. Changing the rules about sitting out a year if you transfer has really changed the landscape in college football. I see our boy Tommy Stephens from Penn State is back with his old offensive assistant from Happy Valley Morehead at Mississippi State.

Just a reminder that this Saturday, the LSU Tigers are on the road to play the University of Texas at Austin. Here's a preview:

I'm looking forward to this Texas/LSU matchup.
Also, Clemson is taking on Texas A&M
Nebraska vs Colorado for you fans of the old Big 8 Conference.

Ugh, Army up on Michigan 14-7 and at the Wolverine 2 yard and they commit a false start penalty and then throw an interception. Totally left Michigan off the hook.

Ohio State continues its winning streak against teams from Ohio. Last loss for the Buckeyes against an intrastate opponent was a 7-6 defeat at the hands of those Yeomen of Oberlin in 1926.

Wow FSU is awful. They barely beat a non-power 5 school in overtime.

Wild game in Austin, but LSU is going to hold on against Texas. Looks like LSU has an explosive offense this year.
LOL at Tennessee losing their second straight game at home, this time to BYU.

Much more uncomfortable win than I expected. Defense stayed on the field entirely too long and was gassed. Many areas to improve defensively. The officials certainly let both teams play tonight. It was a shootout.
