Burrow passes both the eye test and the numbers test. I love when that happens. An adjusted completion rate (excludes drops and throwaways) of 82.5 percent is sick. I have a new favorite football stat. |

Yeah Rizz, big congrats on a great (and easy to like) LSU squad. I am out of the country and was unable to watch, but based on what I read it was a typical Joe Burrow game. And great as he is -- I'm not sure I've ever seen a better college QB -- that fleet of receivers maybe gets obscured somewhat in his shadow.
Anyway, I'm really happy for you. What do you do for an encore?

Thank you to everyone for rooting for LSU and for taking the time to say congratulations! So completely jazzed following the game, I could not sleep. Unbelievable performance by Joe Burrow in his last two games: 14 touchdowns (12 passing, 2 rushing), 956 yards passing, 60 for 88 completions, zero interceptions, zero fumbles. Video game numbers! 105 points against Oklahoma and Clemson, and points were left on the field: missed field goal, dropped touchdown catch, kneel down at the five yard line with nearly two minutes remaining.
