Wild game in Austin, but LSU is going to hold on against Texas. Looks like LSU has an explosive offense this year. LOL at Tennessee losing their second straight game at home, this time to BYU. Much more uncomfortable win than I expected. Defense stayed on the field entirely too long and was gassed. Many areas to improve defensively. The officials certainly let both teams play tonight. It was a shootout. Those games against Big 12 games against teams, like Texas & Oklahoma are hard to play, especially for the defenses. They games are like track meets, but if LSU's offense is going to be this good, they will be really tough to beat.

Does anyone sound like a football coach more than Ed Orgeron? Wow, that voice.

If there are any University of Texas fans here, I apologize in advance.....there is no affection for that school in any other school that has ever been in the same conference with them....that said, this latest whining about LSU giving the "horns" sign upside down as being a taunt, seems ridiculous to me....it is OK for Texas players to flash the hook'em sign after a play, but not for the opposition to invert that sign?.....give me a break, Texas....we all know how you operate to the edge, and over, the rules and ethics of sports, but this crying demeans you further....don't get me started on Texas...

Everyone is so sensitive today. If you're going to hookem' horns all the time, you should be able to take it when some other fan base throws it back into your face.

Saturday is an important game for the once-proud, but now-pedestrian, Cornhuskers as Ohio State visits...Scott Frost is leading a rebuilding program that has promise to restore some luster to the program, but the culture that was allowed to develop following the retirement of Tom Osborne has been difficult to change...a win, or strong showing, will perhaps be another step towards returning to the elite status....I believe this is the first-time meeting of two programs with both having over 900 total wins...there are only 5 such teams and these are two of them...
Nebraska will also announce plans today for a new facility which will incorporate the best of the best ideas from other schools...yes, it is pricey, but recruits and their families are impressed in part by the glitter...good luck to the other posters here with their favorite teams...regards

They must think it's going to be a decent game.

They must think it's going to be a decent game. Ohio State is a popular team nationally, highly ranked, and favored by 17 points on the road. I would be surprised if it’s close but would immensely prefer it, since LSU is off this week and the Yankees are blacked out here. In other words, I’ll be watching this one.
