I remember when ABC used to bring in temporary lights because the stadium didn't have any, but there has been some great games played in that place over the years. During my senior year I lived in an apartment off-campus and my next-door neighbor was Jack Ham. Franco Harris and Lydell Mitchell were frequent visitors to Jack's place. Main thing I remember about Franco was his enormous hands. I'm a pretty big guy and I felt like Jose Altuve when I shook his hand. That's awesome, three great NFL players, two of them in the Hall of Fame. Franco needed those big hands for the Immaculate Reception.

Went to a game at The University of Colorado at Pueblo today. That’s where I learned that last year’s Homecoming Queen was a male. Honest. How did that happen?...In addition, the King was a gay male. I get that one, bit with the Queen also being male it was certainly an odd mix of events...U of C at P was ahead 38-22 when we had to leave in the third quarter...

The only controversy was whether the ball first hit a Steeler player before Harris caught the ball, which at the time would have been an illegal play.

I never heard of it being trapped until now...I guess if you want sour grapes all you have to do is lose them in the back of the fridge for a while before you get them out...

That was always the only issue with that play.

I’m not a current Steelers fan, but if you didn’t love those Steelers with Bradshaw, Harris, Mean Joe and such... Man, they were great. You knew Bradshaw was going to throw deep early in games, but he would do it any way and beat you...And Bradshaw is a funny, funny guy now. Who else can make a walk in bath tub both funny and appealing?...

I think you're thinking of his fellow linebacker Jack Lambert.

"The ball came very close to hitting the ground before Harris scooped it up. In the sideline views of both film and video, Harris had caught the ball out of frame, and came running into frame from the right side on his path to the end zone. The only other known NBC video was an end zone shot from above and behind the goalposts depicting Harris scooping the ball before it touched the ground. The best NFL Films shot of the play, from ground level, is a tight shot from the end zone of Harris snaring the ball, with his feet and the ground just out of frame below"
I read many years ago that it had in fact hit the ground, I thought Harris had said this but maybe not
