Then you’d have to have a very complex equation that includes elements such as number of RBI opportunities, batting order position, etc.. It would be a mess to compute with no guarantee that it would be any more accurate... Statisticians do that all the time in articles no one reads but them. ) Park effects would be important as well. Probably modeling it as direct and indirect effects would be even better. The formula is too complex. You need quick access to appease the fan base...It must also be something the casual fan can grasp...The way education is going on the US, it’s hard to get a kid to understand BA... |

They did not for a lot of games now. Boone was going to use Chapman is this game, since he hasn't pitched since last Saturday. Plus, he looks filthy to me. |

I am hoping you are joking The kids are allowed to use calculators during tests in some situations. It’s more about mastering the formula and combining that with available technology. Maybe that makes more sense than the old way... IDK...(Which is now how you say I don’t know, though I don’t know why)... |
