I am hoping you are joking The kids are allowed to use calculators during tests in some situations. It’s more about mastering the formula and combining that with available technology. Maybe that makes more sense than the old way... IDK...(Which is now how you say I don’t know, though I don’t know why)... what happens if the machines fail |

Exactly...Spelling has also become a lost art. My grand daughter got straight A’s, and her spelling was horrendous. I told Ruthie it was disconcerting because she wants to be a nurse. Sure enough, in college she struggled early on because they were marking misspelled answers wrong for the first time ever. In the medical field, a misspelled word could kill the patient. She’s now focusing on her spelling and doing better... |

Doctors are notorious for writing things including prescriptions no one can read. Which is dangerous. Maybe that will be my excuse. Formally I am a Dr.  |
