Hello lads -- checking in from Dakar, Senegal, where I've been hanging out lately. The Wifi isn't reliable here, but I've been keeping up with the Yanks pretty well. Glad to see Sevy's name back in the boxscore!!
I enjoy keeping up through you guys. Tomorrow we head to Bamako, Mali, another tourist hotspot (actually it's on the State Department "do not travel" list, so we booked our tickets immediately), but we have friends there, so no worries.
Anyway, I really enjoy being able to follow along here, even though sometimes it is hard to send stuff out from here. I tried earlier and it didn't work. Hope this one makes it!

Thanks very much, Chi. Things don't always go like clockwork in West Africa, so flexibility is definitely an asset!
I'm just glad to see Severino back in the lineup, and it looks like that guy -- what is his name again -- oh yeah, Stanton -- will be back by Wednesday or Thursday. Exciting times for the Yankees.

The Yankees will be giving out more rings than any team in baseball history if they win this thing. Wonder if Kendrys Morales and Joe Mantiply and Ryan Dull get them? I don't think there is any set rule for how you qualify.

The Yankees have used 24 position players and 28 pitchers so far this year (30 pitchers if you include Ford and Romine.)
Some statistical oddities -- Jonathan Holder has as many wins (5) as CC Sabathia, and more than Chapman, Britton, Kahnle or Green.
An admittedly misleading stat, but I will bring it up because I like stuff like this. The Yankees have three pitchers with a WHIP below 1.000. They are Dellin Betances, Adonis Rosa and Tyler Lyons.
