That reviewer bought a wide size for what its worth unlike you who I assume bought a regular size. Did you order them, Kay? Nah, I'm going to wait until my foot's better. They ship in a day. I know if I order them now I'll be anxious to try them out right away before my foot heals all the way. I anticipate ordering them over the weekend and trying them Tuesday if my foot feels good.

I used to bowl on a league that a guy I knew from the store I worked in bowled on. He was short of stature but likely in the 275 pound range. I was stunned when I saw him grab his size 6 shoes! I wear a 9.5 and think that’s small… I thought my size 10's were small. Cries in 8.5s

I didn’t know Jim’s parents, and I don’t think he was much of a drinker, but the family was a bit wild. I’d say it’s quite likely. Coal miner stock from WV/KY area. Probably OxyContin abusers, too…

He looks like he has his hands above the table to me. Maybe it happened before they took that shot? 🤓

Man, Fentanyl is horrible stuff. Just goes to show it can happen to anyone. His dog looks healthy though.

Smoltz’ Shmaltz:
n “Starting and Closing” John Smoltz describes the difference like this.
“Say you’re at work. You go get in your car and drive home. You obey the speed limit and get back to your house, no problem. That’s starting. It’s structured. You knew where you were going and you were absolutely comfortable getting in the car and going there. Now, go back to work and try it again, only this time, when you get in your car , get it up to a hundred miles an hour immediately, and no matter what, don’t let up on the gas until you arrive home. Along the way, try to avoid the following likely scenarios’ causing an accident, and running off the road and harming yourself or anyone else. How do you feel? Were you in control? Were you confident that you were going to arrive home safe and sound? Well, that’s closing. And now you know why there are a limited number of guys that can do it”…

Gerrit Cole when speaking about last season: “There were some injuries that are outside of the normal realm. With that said, we get injured too much as a group, like, we need to improve.”…

In November 2022, the New York Times’ James Wagner reported that players from the Dominican Republic account for half of the positive tests in the majors and minors every year, but the frequency is even greater at the major league level. Including Marte, 15 of the last 18 suspensions handed down to major leaguers since the start of 2020 have gone to Dominican players; the U.S-born Paul Campbell and Héctor Santiago (both 2021) and Venezuela-born José Rondón (2022).
