This weekend will be rough for sure. Basketball maybe? No, I’m going to drive my niece to Louisiana and visit my brothers. Nice! Family time is always good! |

Sort of the way I feel, too. Actually, this is the first WS game I’ve watched in a long, long time. After 1994, I swore I would never watch again unless the Yankees were involved. I don’t think I’ve stuck to that, but it’s been close. I really feel like we should have been in this one. Game seven somehow became compelling tonight...Don’t know why... I'm enjoying rooting against the Astros thats for sure. I want to see all their faces after they lose. The Wild Card team cashes in! Hey, the Nationals could win the next 25 World Series titles in a row and still not have as many as the Yankees! |

We’re getting 5 degrees tonight...Back up to 40 tomorrow though... What’s your go to cold day meal, Inger? You of the anti-condiment constitution... Ice cream is always good... Spaghetti is ALWAYS good... Rigatoni is always good... Chicken Noodle or Bean with Bacon Soup... We had homemade Beef Stew tonight. ‘‘Twas quite good...even the carrots... |

Sounds like good times, Rizz...How many brothers do you have? Younger or older than you?... I’m the youngest by many years. I have three brothers and a sister. We’re slowing dropping off. I have one brother left out of 4. All three sisters are still alive, but one has brain cancer, one has basically disappeared with a heart full of hatred. The other one is 76 years old and is fighting stomach cancer. Thankfully it has a very high cure rate. Unfortunately, her doctor told her to let her siblings know it tends to be genetic... Enjoy those siblings while you have them. My last remaining brother is 73...Wish I could have known them all better when we were young, but our family didn’t function that way... |
