Cole without the hat on has a little Jim Morrison look about him. Except he’s not a junkie. But otherwise.

Way over the top slobbering over Altuve for being able to run 90 feet. It was non-doofus baserunning

Anyone believe Cole isn’t worth the money this offseason?

I hope Hinch does the Yankees a favor and take Cole out. He's throwing better now than he was three hours ago.

OK its tough but still doable. Lets get a few back this inning! Noetsi would not agree. Everything is possible somethings are unlikely to paraphrase George Box
My argument in regular season that our starters were not good enough to face Houston and that hitting was not as important as pitching in the play offs seems true to me.
Maybe next year Cashman will finally grasp that. Probably not. He had chances to get quality pitchers in the past including Verlander and Cole and chose not to in order to stress hitting.
He also vastly overrated our starters.

Anyone believe Cole isn’t worth the money this offseason? I saw an interview with Cole yesterday and he's a tough guy to dislike. He came across as very humble, low-key and thrilled about pitching at Yankee Stadium. Love to see him in the interlocking NY.

I still think the Yankees can win this series dunno why you think it's over.

Anyone believe Cole isn’t worth the money this offseason? It depends. Probably 7-8 years at $250-275m. I’d have to think about how much more value he brings as compared to merely above average options.

I hope Hinch does the Yankees a favor and take Cole out. He's throwing better now than he was three hours ago. Looks like he's done at 112 pitches.

He grew up as a Yankees fan and that was the story before his dad backed out on DO after they drafted him.

Just unreal the pitcher Cole has become. Always projected out this way I suppose. Seems like we give him two easyish outs every inning before being able to get anything started and no big hits.

I still think the Yankees can win this series dunno why you think it's over. I never said its over. I said we would have a better chance if Cashman was willing to get an elite starter. He tries to do things on the cheap and that does not work usually with pitchers.
We can still win. We have to find a way to beat Cole or Verlander which can happen.
