Aren't we only burdened with the Ellsbury contract one more year? Yup. 21 million for this year and then another 5 million dollar buyout for next year. Hopefully the Stanton decision will be the last of the really dumb ones we make. Unfortunately we will have that one for a really long time. |

On the MLB Trade Rumors chat today or yesterday... someone asked who would turn down Schwarber for ANDUJAR.... The host said the Cubbies would turn it down because of the lost season (fair enough). I think it would be best if BOTH teams turned that deal down... I really hope Andujar is held onto.. I think his bat is special and I'd hate to lose it (or worse, lose Andujar and Gio turns into a pumpkin) |
