I’ll trade the Red Sox head up Betts for Stanton (I know, no-trade clause). Think of the homers over that Green Monster for Stanton. Meanwhile, Betts moves to centerfield for the Yankees! Twins pulled the reliever Gatorade off of the table. I just came here to report that. I hope they still find a way to make the trade. I want Betts outta Boston pronto! Yanks should be in on Maeda and Graterol to further screw this up for the Sox, even though the trade clearly made the Sox worse. Bloom wouldn’t have done this if he didn’t have plans to redeploy that money. |

He's owed another 32 million for next 3 seasons, 96 million total... I want the Sux to pay every penny... (funny the site I went on to see how much he's owed is listing him as a Dodger) They were going to absorb 1/2 of the Price contract anyway... I know but I'd rather them have David Price than the salary relief regardless.... I think the SUx were gonna absorb 15 million a season? (or was it Dodgers were gonna pay 15?... for some reason I thought there was a 15 involved...) I want Price in Boston the next 3 years, even if it means Mookie stays for 1 more season. |

Looks like the trade is back on and Jeter is heading to the Red Sox! I love that the Sox are getting a player named after Jeter. It's hilarious, the Red Sox trade one of the best players in the game for a couple prospects, one of them named after a Yankee all time great. |
