they won't go after players because then no player will turn anyone in. A better idea would be to offer rewards for players to turn people in. Knowing they would turn people in would discourage anyone from using the system. I’m betting you were a joy on the playground... “Look, principal. This is the way it is. This situation probably mirrors the PED situation more than we’ll ever know. More users than non-users. How does it get to be 2020 before allegations from 2017 are addressed? We’re being scammed and shammed. It’s nothing new. We were raised to believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny. Sandman, Tooth Fairies and a blond-haired, blue eyed Jesus that watched over us constantly. Our President and all of our congressmen loved us and protected us. As a species, human beings are filthy and greedy. We’ll take anything that’s not nailed down and often do so through special laws that help us do it. Now, what if we do find out that Gleyber had a buzzer in his britches last year? I would assume that no player would be dumb enough to continue wearing such a device in 2020 with the heat on. There were times that Gleyber looked a lot like a guess hitter who was guessing right an awful lot. Without the device do we see him hit .240 and drop way down in power?...

That title needs to be rescinded. Whatever, everyone knows its illegitimate anyway. Given to who? I’m sure the Dodger would think they were cheated as much or more than the Yanks were. I don’t see it any differently than the 2000 or 2009 Yankees. Without cheating those teams probably don’t win anything. Those championships definitely were cheapened for me by the presence of Yankees who have since been revealed to be cheaters. Nobody’s giving those championships back but they’re certainly tainted. |
