Yes.. that's what I meant by "In actuality he was talking about the Yankees having a system in place to catch the Astro's"

I have wondered this for a while. Why can't catchers just send a text message from a wristwatch to a pitcher looking at their wrist watch what the pitch is going to be. Then no one can steal the sign. They won't be able to see it. I know this is technologically possible.

I notice few of the Boston players giving the Houston players a hard time. Pot vs Kettle? Boston's day of reckoning is coming. Yeah. Houston players looking forward to that.

They can technologically; it would take more time than hand signals though, especially if the pitcher wants to shake off a pitch and location.

Pitcher wears an ear piece, someone in the dugout calls the pitches... Astro's hire a hacker to hack into headset.

Tequila & I just got back from a real long TRIP (Mind you, Tequila went reluctantly...).
I smoked to much Deadman’s Skull and had some mushrooms as a side dish and well, well, well…we been on a hell of a trip. Cannot remember much, just Bits & Pieces and NO, you DO NOT want to know about those Bs & Ps…go figure. We recently had a chance to catch up with our Board Reading and got a Kick out of the Cheating Scandal Thread… We were shocked by Some of the Articles/Posts stating they will/or would like to Bean the Astro Players = “YOU SAID WHAT?”
Those statements just left me Shaking my Head in disbelief and wondering if I should lite up Deadman’s Skull again and Exit Left…Let’s take a look at Baseball History: Since nearly the beginning of this great sport, EVERY TEAM has tried to steal signs on an ongoing basis. Yes, even us = The New York Yankees. The only thing the Astro’s did was to use Technology (Bravo to them = they thought outside the box). They also got caught (real stupid) and got a well-deserved punishment. Yes, they broke the RULES = No doubt about that and got a tough punishment. Just keep in mind PLEASE, while they were using their system (Tech) to steal signs just about every other team at the exact same time, were trying to steal signs too minus the tech part. So how about we stop going after them, for soon someone well be stating to "Cut Off Their Heads and Put Their Severed Heads On Spikes," etc. etc. etc. P.S. Jay email me and let me how you are doing. Hoping everything is OK and getting better for you. Tequila says HEY!!!

MLB tries to explain why ..... "Five men sued MLB, MLB Advanced Media, the Houston Astros and the Boston Red Sox in federal court in Manhattan, claiming fraud, violation of consumer-protection laws, negligence, unjust enrichment and deceptive trade practices by teams that violated MLB's rules against the use of electronics to steal catchers' signs. The five said they participated in DraftKings fantasy baseball contests." ''Rules violations - large and small, intentional and unintentional, technical and game-changing - are a never-ending source of sports television, talk radio, web and elevator commentary by sports pundits and fans alike,'' MLB said Friday in papers submitted to U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff. ''And fans' general awareness of the potential for infractions is underscored in this case by the fact that clubs were publicly disciplined for electronic sign-stealing violations during the 2017 regular season.'' Obviously the punishment had no impact. It won't this time either because the commissioner does not take it seriously. Or the owners he answers to. This is an amazing statement - said in court "MLB maintained ''plaintiffs got exactly what they bargained for: contests determined by baseball players' actual performance on the field, whatever the contributing factors, predictable or unpredictable, may have been'' and added ''not one plaintiff claims to have lost any fantasy baseball contest as a result of sign-stealing or otherwise.'' In other words MLB does not think that the cheating scandal influenced games. If so, why punish anyone. sports.yahoo.com/mlb-tells-court-attempts-cheating-part-sports-180604071--mlb.html
