Also technically Brad Pitt won an Oscar for producing 12 Years a Slave though it wasn't an acting Oscar. Do you hate me for being a Nitpicking Nelly yet? No worries ever on picking nits. I’ve liked Pitt in several movies. I believe the first role I saw him in was A River Runs Through It and then Seven.

If anyone has an hour or so to kill that they will never get back, please listen to my movie podcast that my friend Adam and I just started. It's a little rough and we've had some technical problems, but I would love any constructive feedback. www.buzzsprout.com/888142

(Looking at the episodes you should do Godfather and the Irishman!)

Listening now. Can't believe Adam hasn't seen the Godfather. My favorite move! You have to get him to see that for the podcast!
LOL, when you said there are 10 movies I see over and over and Adam said "you can't count pornography"

OK, I finished listening to the Episode with Network and Bombshell. I enjoyed it very much! You and Adam have great camaraderie and a good rhythm throughout. LOL at only spending 15 minutes of the hour episode on Bombshell and the rest on Network (I hope other movies are more 50/50 though). Still, I enjoyed the entire thing. The only constructive criticism I would give you is to probably make the episodes a little shorter. Maybe 40 minutes instead of an hour? Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing. Like I said before I would definitely recommend a Godfather/Irishman episode. I would really be interested in hearing that!

Would a podcast discussing The Irishman also have to last three times as long as a podcast normally would, meander aimlessly and then eventually just end because nobody knows what to do next?

I forgot there was a movie thread, so I decided to move the podcast conversation to it. Thanks everyone. I appreciate your support, critques and ideas. I wish I had done a podcast 20 years ago when my mind was a lot sharper. The premise of the podcast is Adam is 25 years younger than me and has not seen anything pre-eighties and I haven't seen a lot of the films in the past 20 years or so. So one week he gives me a film to watch and then I come up with one that has a connection to his film. The next week it's my turn. Will definitely do one around The Godfather, which as kay pointed out, Adam has never seen. We've both seen the Irishman, so we may have to change the format for a week. I liked it a lot more than he did, so that in itself a conversation starter. We are changing the format this week and talking about our Top 5 Jack Nicholson roles. Re-watching "Five Easy Pieces" this morning. www.buzzsprout.com/888142
