Here's the complete setlist from Billy's Madison Sq Garden show, although we only saw about half of this during last night's program. Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway) Play Video My Life (with “Ode to Joy” snippet) Play Video Vienna (Jerry Seinfeld intro) Play Video The Downeaster "Alexa" Play Video An Innocent Man Play Video The Longest Time (Started with snippet of The Lion Sleeps Tonight) Play Video Turn the Lights Back On Play Video Big Man on Mulberry Street (with Sting) (Duet with Sting) Play Video Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic (The Police cover) (with Sting) (Duet with Sting) Play Video Movin' Out (Anthony's Song) Play Video Half a Mile Away Play Video The Entertainer Play Video Don't Ask Me Why Play Video Allentown Play Video New York State of Mind Play Video Only the Good Die Young Play Video The River of Dreams (with "River Deep, Mountain… more ) Play Video Nessun dorma (Giacomo Puccini cover) (sung by Mike DelGuidice) Play Video Scenes From an Italian Restaurant Play Video Piano Man Encore: We Didn't Start the Fire Play Video Uptown Girl Play Video It's Still Rock and Roll to Me Play Video Big Shot Play Video You May Be Right (Interlude of Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin) I’ve never heard of the song “Play Video,” but it must be good if he played it so many times.

Because I watched some of those songs listed, but they weren't part of an encore.

I have to say, Joel's backup singer Crystal Taliefero has a great voice. Loved the way she sang "River Deep, Mountain High". She’s quite multitalented. Blowing on the saxophone, singing backups, stepping up on River Deep, percussion…

Well, I was in the mood for a melody, but instead what I got was a Heidi Bowl flashback. Looks like a decision was made at CBS to air the local news instead of showing the rest of the Billy Joel concert. Joel was singing Piano Man and the next thing I knew while Joel was still singing, a commercial came on TV. I thought it was a mistake and CBS would show the rest of the concert. Instead the CBS local news came on. Anyone out west watch the Billy Joel concert last night? Can you tell me please how the concert ended? What other songs if any did Billy Joel sing after the Piano Man? I didn't watch it...wife wanted to watch "Killers Of The Flower Moon" on Apple, but I did record it. I'll let you know when I watch it later. Thanks Pal, much appreciated.

I saw “You May be Right” mid set, that’s the only one from the encores list that I saw…so perhaps it was that if it may be right, it also may have been wrong… 🤓 I think he played it right after “Play Video” once… 😘

The concert was a couple weeks ago, but CBS gave us an edited and shorten version to match their 2 hour time slot. For decades, Billy has ended his shows with Piano Man and then come back for some encores.

Thanks for the list, Chi. I suspected much was amiss while we watched. They shouldn’t lure people in thinking they’ll be watching a “concert” and then cover half of it up with commercials. Yanks my crank but good. It would have been much better with the entirety shown. As for Billy and his group, they did well. But… CBS pulled a fast one on us. Come watch a shit ton of commercials with a few Billy Joel and Sting songs in between them, and don’t expect the finale to be complete because it runs out of the allotted time due to our stupid mismanagement of such time… I'm not going to hold my breath waiting, but in my opinion, CBS should show a repeat of that entire concert free without any commercial interruptions on their On Demand TV app.

I don't know if it's a symptom of aging, but I sometimes have trouble following the details...she keeps me informed as to what's going on.

"We'll rejoin John Sebastian and others after this brief message from your local station."

Not once did I ever see him end his concert by singing "Piano Man". There were always encores.

After the Heidi Bowl, I never would have thought that so many years later I would be asking the same question...What was the network thinking?

I rather watch a music Concert on PBS, I the pledge requests make great breaks. Last month PBS, they had great one by Billy Joel from 1990 from Yankee Stadium.
