My Favorites are Paint it Black, Sympathy for The Devil, and Gimme Shelter. Good choices. I'd add Mother's Little Helper, Midnight Rambler and Time Waits for No One.

I liked Beast of Burden. I don’t get a bunch of joy from their catalog, nor am I repulsed by it...

It wouldn't be a Martin Scorsese movie without Gimme Shelter.

This song popped into my head, and I was trying to remember who performed it? Was it the Doors? Steppenwolf? It was The Doors...

The day the music died....well at least for some people. I wasn’t devastated by the news. I figured they had completed their work together. I liked them just fine, but there were other bands that I liked just as well, even better...

The Guess Who, a Canadian band was an immensely popular band in the USA until they released this single. Many Americans took it as a statement in favor of Socialist/Communist politics. The band said they were thinking more Summer of Love/California. Once the story was out the bands popularity never again reached its prior levels... m.youtube.com/watch?v=rLQJ4toj-JY
