Amanda Blake died of AIDS. Kitty was quite obviously the owner of a Saloon and house of ill repute. Yet, she stayed a virgin... Matt, too. He needed to keep his energy to fight crime. He had amazing strength, able to knock people out with a single backhand... š Kitty was no virgin. Ā And, she was secretly in love with Chester. Ā Most people believe Chester walked with a hop because of a bad leg; not true. Ā That solves the Chesterās walk issue. I thought he might walk that way because he was having an affair with Doc... So Chester nā Kitty huh? Iād a never knowed it... āIf I could just borry 10 cents til we get back to the office, Doc. I got my money in ma other pantsā...

I think the big 10 Presidents made the decision. Being academics they listened to other academics in the health field tell them that it was dangerous to play. I don't think politics was the key issue and I think in this decision the university presidents not the commissioner made the decision. Other conferences canceled this to.
This will have zero harmful impact on Trump who's base will vote for him if he was shown to be a Martian. Or those voting against him. Who hate him.
The schools, besides being academics, did not want to get sued if people got sick or died, Which they will.

The schools, besides being academics, did not want to get sued if people got sick or died, Which they will. I respect your opinion. Please google "Sports Illustrated Let them Play". The most recent data is out and it would not lead any rational decision makers to postponing a season. In a capsule: Of all the US deaths, only 6% were CAUSED by Covid, the other 94% were caused by existing conditions, and those people ALSO HAD Covid at the time of death, so of course were marked as Covid deaths. How many young men and women who play sports have a serious existing condition?

We could argue whether one should be afraid of COVID or not (since we are all going to die one could argue we should not be afraid of anything including smoking and drinking while driving). My point is different. The people making the decision were academics. They could not have cared less what the public as a whole thought. They care what other academics thought. And they think COVID is dangerous.
So they are not going to let them play. Personally I think letting people take extra risk so one can watch football is of doubtful ethics. This disease kills young people not just the old. Children have been killed by it.

ahhh. Roy Rogers a.k.a. Leonard Sly. I got a present of a Roy Rogers gun and holster once. I liked the name of his imaginary ranch, the Double R Bar. I was meh about Dale. I always thought then that the cowboys should be celibate and dedicated to wiping out the bad guys and doing good to the weak. Speaking of Costner, there is a great western starring Costner and Robert Duvall titled "Open Range". If you haven't seen it, I urge you to watch it as you're evidently a western fan. Iāve seen Open Range like maybe 4,243 times and would watch it again. Iāve seen Eastwoodās famous trilogy at least the same number of times, and will continue to watch them and Gunsmoke when Iām a speck of dust floating around. I plan to stick to TV screens after my passing... Wow, you really do appreciate Open Range. That gun battle was really something. Makes the battle at the OK Corral look pretty weak. I love the dialog between Costner and Duvall before they walk down the street to meet the group of 8. And, then after both were healed up from their wounds, how Duvall could hardly wait to tell the woman she was going to be Mrs. Postelwaite.

I have heard of old people being able to hide their own Easter eggs, and having then to discover where the eggs are hidden. Or buying and wrapping their own Christmas presents and being completely surprised when they unwrap them.
