Great pictures. I notice Catfish and Mussina are depicted without any team logo on their cap. I guess that was their decision.
Does your brother have more pictures? There are so many Yankee greats to choose from, it is hard to be all-inclusive. Gehrig, DiMaggio, Combs, Dickey, and more. Does anyone know of a site that lists players in the Hall that went in as Yankees? Maybe, with pictures of their plaques like this presentation?

Said he had to go back to get him. I think he took Gehrig and Dickey but didn't send them to me. I'll try to get them.

The Hall of Fame. Nice trip! Did it once, likely never again... Nice! Did you enjoy the trip? I heard the town itself was quite nice too.

The drive to it from Syracuse is pretty as well, the region being called the Finger Lake region. If you can go in the fall, the countryside is gorgeous in autumn colors.

Cool! I might check it out myself one day! I’ll second ernesto on the beautiful drive. The ex and I drove up from MD. to Niagara Falls, then down through the Finger Lakes Region to Cooperstown, and it was in high color of autumn. The mountains of Western NY as well as the people were quite a treat. The only part of the drive that wasn’t beautiful and relaxing was a short leg through the Albany area that jolted me back into life’s realities of traffic and concrete. For golfers, though I didn’t play, I heard the golf course behind the Hall of Fame to be excellent. Heavily treed and in a park like setting it’s said to challenge players to the ball straight...

The thread title makes me think about “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”...
My brother went to The Hall of Fame To up his Baseball game
He was way behind From fighting the virus So he wanted To go see Cyrus (Young)
When he got To the Hall he had a ball Soon took a sip from his Kerig A nd right then he saw Lou Gehrig *********** I guess I’ll cut this off here, but you can just feel my talent oozing out of me, can’t you?

The thread title also reminds me a little bit of Lucy In The Sky (With Diamonds).
I’ll leave the lyrics of that one alone...

Great pictures, thanks for posting them!
Despite loving baseball and growing up so close to the HOF, I've never been to Cooperstown. I'd like to make a trip someday with my son.

Great pictures, thanks for posting them! Despite loving baseball and growing up so close to the HOF, I've never been to Cooperstown. I'd like to make a trip someday with my son. It’s a wise idea to include your son. In some ways the place is a bit of a let down. It’s not a very big building, kind of cluttered. The value on going would be much greater if you have someone that’s truly interested to share it with. Probably over-whelming to some, especially the younger you are, and the less history of the game you know. I was forty, I think. My son had no interest in the trip at all, and stayed with his grand mother. My wife was there, but had very little interest...
