How's your brother?
For me, it's been harder to get into this season because of all the injuries. The games would much more interesting with Judge, Torres and Stanton in the lineup.

That must have sucked!
I'm still watching every game so no trouble getting into the games. Though all the injuries and poor play have been frustrating. What about you? Do you still watch most of the Yankee games?

More worrisome is pippsheadache. I've emailed him but I don't think he checks the email he used to sign up. I hope he can find the new board. The new board does come up if you google HeAmyHa.

COVID lingering over our heads. All we can really root for right now is ligaments and such to heal in time for a post season that we might only make because half of the teams will be in it. But. Still good to see you around. Hope you hang around... |

I haven't been into it at all... I think the short season is a joke... The 7 inning double headers, runners on 2nd to start extras, all that crap is silly... I'm sure if our dear Yankees were healthy and playing better, I'd be more into it... but I think I forgot it was opening day until an hour into the game. I rarely know what's going on w/ injuries... I rarely know the game times.. I look forward to watching UFC more...
Nice to see you PSU (names Ross correct?). Hope all has been well bro. Stick around.. this board is the only good thing about the 2020 season

Welcome back psu. Our group is not as large as we used to be, but still a lot of fun. And no TMarino.
My interest has faded a little as we aren't seeing the team we all thought we would and Boone seems to get outmanaged every game. I'll hang in there to see if we make the playoffs because I still love the Yankees and baseball in general.

Some baseball is better than no baseball... I guess? Pretty much sums it up for me. The incessant injuries causing the daily lineup shifts which cause the ragged defensive play. We are historically bad with runners in scoring position. Even with the injuries there is no good excuse for us to be this bad with RISP. Last year we had guys like Gardner and Maybin step up and play well. I don't think anybody expected that. We also bought in DJ, Tauchman and Urshela who carried us. We have run out of guys like that this year. Although it is a small sample size Frazier has certainly exceeded my expectations. Garcia gives me hope for the future and as Tim Robbins said in Shawshank Redemption "hope is a good thing". Many questions to be asked and answered in the offseason. Is Gardner resigned?(I doubt it). Can we rely on Garcia, Schmidt, and Montgomery? What happens with Andujar and Sanchez? It's going to be interesting. |

I'm frustrated with the Yankees injuries and some of the oddities of the short season, but I still watch every game so I guess my enthusiasm hasn't waned.

The lack of offense makes the games so hard to watch. How many times have we seen the score some runs early in the game and then get shut down the rest of the way? |
