I was thinking about the “Cashman Addresses The Troops” headline:
I hope he addressed: Sanchez to Chicago Andujar to Detroit Gardner to retirement Hicks to Japan Chapman to a penitentiary Ottavino to the Red Sox Estrada to the Alternate Site Wade to the Royals, where he might fit in
I have more, but you get the idea, right?

No I don't understand why we would trade andujar at all. And why we would trade Hicks to a Japanese team. What would we get in exchange.
I don't think Cashman sees a need for major changes. Most of which he caused in the first place.

Most of which he caused in the first place. Three weeks into the season, they were healthy and had the best record in the AL, so it's easy to see why Cashman doesn't think they need major changes.

Hicks, Sanchez, Stanton et el had problems then. And we get injured every year - after a while you can't believe its coincidence. The Yankees need to make more of an effort to determine how likely certain types of players are going to get hurt. And stay away from them.

But they’re probably on the edge of their seats waiting for our opinion... I doubt they will ever know what any of us think let alone care. Except kaybli. I hear he is close to the senior leadership there... LOL, I did get Cashman to deliver this message to the forum:

lol, you're the man, Kay! That's great and probably a little easier for Cashman to do than the first time.

Most of which he caused in the first place. Unless we can open up DH for Andujar, unlikely with Stanton around, he’s an excess bat. One of many we have. I want players that can field, throw, run, and make contact With some pop. DJLM is one. Urshela is one. Judge is one that contact or not, does everything else well. I’m on the fence with Torres. Stanton could do it, but at this point, no thank you. We need a more athletic all-around team. The Rays are doing it. The Jays are doing it... It actually works...

We need players that don't get hurt every year. Which is why Stanton at DH may not be an issue. He has to actually be able to play to be the DH.

If this season has indicated anything, it’s that there is no such thing as an excess bat. Andujar is too talented and too young to give up on. We made it within one game of the World Series with Andujar manning third base. The Rays have done nothing yet. The Blue Jays have been irrelevant for decades. Being doormats for years and years will get a franchise excellent draft capital. It’s the reason the Astros built a great team, but they had three or four 100 loss seasons to get there. The Yankees are relevant every single year. This is a year of injuries and Sánchez and Ba-Boone. I swear Boone has cost the Yankees at least five to seven losses. That’s a difference between 21-21 and 28-14, which would put us in first place.
