I mean obviously the Rays will take the 2 wins, but they can't be happy that their pitching staff has given up 18 runs. That usually loses most series, what has been in their favor though is the Yankees pitching staff has also given up 18 runs.

The Yankees really pre-planned having their #5 starter pitch in game four by pairing their third and fourth starters for game two. That is some next level shit. Hey, a couple posters liked the move last night...not saying who...but we know them...

Considering none of their starters went past 5 innings. They don't need to go beyond 5 so why should they. If our starters kept the game close for 5 innings we would win this series Both teams have scored 18 runs over 3 games.

It would have been more than 18 if Morton was gifted out of that based loaded jam by the umpire. That should have another run for the Yanks with the red hot Stanton coming up with the bases loaded.

Another day, another thrill. If we win tomorrow it’s all even again... yawn... Or there could be a meteorite strike tonight in which case it won't matter A typical meteorite strike on Earth is rather small and extremely unlikely to be a damaging situation. If you were to speak of an asteroid, then in a very rare occurrence we could have reason to fear that big momma...likely to happen every 25 million years or so...

Too bad Stanton wasn’t batting second tonight instead of Judge. Could have been a different game.

Yes we have one good starting pitcher, I agree. Its only game 2 and 3 starters I was discussing. So counting runs from game 1 has nothing to do with my argument. 5 of those runs scored off a reliever in the 9th.

O'Neil says the failure of the strategy the night before still seemed on their mind because the team looked very flat.
So it's Montgomery vs an opener tomorrow. (Thompson).
Lorenz : Don't try to out ray the rays play to your strengths.

They brought in the runs scored in game 1. Which had nothing to do with my original argument

It sure sounds you missed most of the season.

Just to expand on what O'Neil said you can tell in Happs body language he was literally disgusted at the move last night and how it was handled have to wonder if that effected the team a bit if some silent players didn't agree either.

Once in a while we get something the size of a sack of potatoes. Anything else is excedingly rare. Brush up on your science...
