Alright, time to turn the page on last night's debacle. Tanaka on extra rest will shut em down and the bullpen will finish the Rays off! Lineups to come!

Was out helping a family with a Virus Infected family member = got back to watch second half of last night's game and YES, the RAYS kicked BUTT.
MY QUESTIONS/CONCERNS: --Why was Garcia yanked so early and replaced by HAPP? Garcia Only gave up one HR = Happ did worst...
--Why isn't NO-HIT, SWING AWAY, PASSED BALLS Sanchez not benched for all play-off games? --What Tank will we get tonight?
The Yankees tried to out-Rays the Rays in ALDS Game 2 -- it backfired in more ways than one.

Watch Higgy hit another home run tonight! So happy Sanchez is not behind the plate.

Last night’s game management still has me aggravated. I’m fortunate not to have a red-headed stepchild. The one thing that did give me a moment of joy was the re-introduction of Adam Ottavino. Half of Ottavino’s ERA was due to that “one game” which was a disaster. Without that day on his resume, he had a 2.95 ERA and he fanned 25 in 18.1 innings. He’s still a serious and important weapon. Without “that day” he allowed fewer hits than in it haha pitches and he walked only 7. Sadly... he had “that day”. You can’t just throw it away. Because it happened once, we know it could happen again. It seems unlikely though. That said even last nights’ appearance was handled poorly as Boone brought him in to a situation in the middle of a rally, which meant he had to face at least three hitters. His pitch movement looked good, his confidence seemed okay. We need that extra power arm as the post-season rolls along...

Kyle Higashioka (R) C This standard lineup is faulty as far as I’m concerned. At the top we have a run-producer leading off. He can hit anywhere in the lineup, but we’d be better served with Hicks leading off, drawing his walks and with better speed than LeMahieu. Judge is not the OBP machine of past seasons. He’s seldom drawn the BB this year due to lack of selectivity. We could hit Urshela in the two spot and increase contact. After that it seems to be a grab bag. Obviously Gardner and Higashioka belong at the bottom. 4. Voit 5. Stanton 6. Judge 7. Torres Is okay. It could be argued that a different order would serve well for one purpose or the other. Voit has been slumping, so the big bats behind him might bring him out of it. Stanton is hot, so putting him ahead of Voit might be a good move, with Voit still having Judge behind him. Judge’s strikeouts in the middle of a rally are becoming problematic for me, almost to the point of the Ks of Sanchez...

I should have added that piece...

Ugh, I'd have Frazier in LF. Gardner will do some damage tonight. He does have great history against Morton.

Ugh, I'd have Frazier in LF. Gardner will do some damage tonight. Gardner has a .364 career average vs. Morton, the highest BA of any Yankee against the veteran. He has also hit the most career HR vs. Morton of any Yankee, with 3. Next up are LeMahieu .350 and Stanton .346. Stanton has only taken Morton deep once, LeMahieu never has. I like him in there tonight. Clint looks like he’s homer-hunting on every pitch right now. He’s chasing a lot of high heat and always looks surprised when he misses it. Just the kind of mistake that a wily veteran like Morton would love to take advantage of...

As Mr. G would likely say, “When Judge hits, we win!”
