This standard lineup is faulty as far as I’m concerned. At the top we have a run-producer leading off. He can hit anywhere in the lineup, but we’d be better served with Hicks leading off, drawing his walks and with better speed than LeMahieu. Judge is not the OBP machine of past seasons. He’s seldom drawn the BB this year due to lack of selectivity. We could hit Urshela in the two spot and increase contact. After that it seems to be a grab bag. Obviously Gardner and Higashioka belong at the bottom. 4. Voit 5. Stanton 6. Judge 7. Torres Is okay. It could be argued that a different order would serve well for one purpose or the other. Voit has been slumping, so the big bats behind him might bring him out of it. Stanton is hot, so putting him ahead of Voit might be a good move, with Voit still having Judge behind him. Judge’s strikeouts in the middle of a rally are becoming problematic for me, almost to the point of the Ks of Sanchez... I wouldn’t mind those changes at all. We really need Judge to wake up. As Mr. G would likely say, “When Judge hits, we win!” He did have the go ahead HR just two days ago. |

I just don’t see a strikeout king with an average or less OBP belongs on the two hole. It was more acceptable when he was near .400 OBP. He’s swinging more earlier in the count now, often at pitches that he’s missing and would jam him if he did hit them... |

HERE YE HERE YE... YEEEEHAAWW MOFUGGER!! I BET YOU WANNA KNOW TONIGHTS SUCKERS?? That's an easy one folks! We got Higgy and Gardy in the line up... so of course they're gonna suck up the joint... who else is gonna suck you ask?? Judge sucked a lot lately... and Voit sucked as well... but according to my self-proclaimed rules, I can only have 3 suckers tonight... hmm.. Judge looks pretty friggen lost.. but it's been a while since Voit hit a homer... so I'm gonna go w/ Voit... VOIT, HIGGY, GARDY... let's see how bad they SUCK tonight.. Which will be our LVP??? Well, in all honesty, our LVP would be Boone... on a good night..
Hope the ump we score tonight is as good as last nights!!

MIND YOU: This year I have huge $$$ LOSSES in regards to my bets and maybe more losses on the way.
And one of my rich gambling buddies = A avid Yankee fan has been relentless in bugging me for a bet on this series.
Today he offered me: Tampa 3-1 odds for $5,000
I had to think long & hard = What good pitcher do we have behind COLE? Not HAPP and which Tank will show up tonight? Will Sanchez play more in this series?
I figured 3-1 odds not bad at this stage of the series = most I can lose is $5,000 and win $15,000.
Still a Yankee fan = BUT, this is business.

Yes, but he is 2 for 19 in the playoffs thus far with eight strikeouts. Fortunately, both hits were homers. Still, that’s a .105 BA with a .190 OBP. Those aren’t Aaron Judge numbers. |
