Happ pitched like 3 innings and gave up 4 runs. He is a number 5 pitcher for a reason. How many rookie pitchers have been play off ready in the last 20 years? Some, but not a lot I think Happ pitched out of the bullpen which is different than starting. Garcia got screwed over by his own manger and front office. The Yankees have basically only used two starters is this playoffs, Cole and Tanaka. Garcia gave up a run in one inning. He did not look great to me in that inning, although who can tell how he would have pitched. Is starting in the 2nd inning really that different than starting in the first? Do you think Happ would have pitched better if he started in the first?

Sucks how they finally get Stanton hitting at mvp levels again and the rest of the team mostly disappears. I think Gardner and Hicks did well Gardner struck out three times tonight.

Hopefully it's the good Montgomery and not the bad one.

Not far off the final result of 8.00 for the team.

Happ has continued to say about the right things this season despite being put in several positions that were obviously not in his best interests. For the most part, he pitched suite well after stumbling out of the gate. He’s smart enough to realize that he doesn’t have a contract and that bitching could cost him several million dollars, and maybe an extra year of being bound by a contract. We may learn more of his thoughts over the winter if he winds up signing elsewhere...

No a structural break would have occurred in the 5th when a ball hit him in the arm

MIND YOU: This year I have huge $$$ LOSSES in regards to my bets and maybe more losses on the way.
And one of my rich gambling buddies = A avid Yankee fan has been relentless in bugging me for a bet on this series.
Today he offered me: Tampa 3-1 odds for $5,000
I had to think long & hard = What good pitcher do we have behind COLE? Not HAPP and which Tank will show up tonight? Will Sanchez play more in this series?
I figured 3-1 odds not bad at this stage of the series = most I can lose is $5,000 and win $15,000.
Still a Yankee fan = BUT, this is business.
3-1 odds is definitely a line that’s way over the book value... My friend is Filthy Rich and part of a group of four friends--an avid & beyond reasonable Yankee Fan--had been bugging & bugging me for a bet on this Series--waited until he made it attractive. He could still win...

The Yankees really pre-planned having their #5 starter pitch in game four by pairing their third and fourth starters for game two. That is some next level shit. Hey, a couple posters liked the move last night...not saying who...but we know them... [img src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/deYNshsjVcNRnVUrLLFH.gif" class="smile" alt=" "] Who?
